Business programme architecture released for 5th ‘Ensuring Drug Security’ Forum

The business programme architecture for the ‘Ensuring Drug Security’ Russian Pharmaceutical Forum has been published on the event’s official website. The Forum will take place on 18 June 2025 on the opening day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Forum is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Russian Ministry of Health and the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.

“The ‘Ensuring Drug Security’ Russian Pharmaceutical Forum is a key industry platform where industry development issues are discussed, major achievements are presented, and a dialogue with international partners is being established to implement joint projects, develop exports, strengthen cooperation in science, and introduce innovations. Ensuring drug security is one of the key elements of the foundation for building a healthy society and achieving the goals of active longevity,” Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov said.

The business programme features expert discussions on key aspects of the pharmaceutical industry’s development. Participants will discuss innovative approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases, including rare pathologies and oncological diseases, and will also examine the impact of artificial intelligence and VR technologies on the transformation of the pharmaceutical industry. A key part of the programme will be discussions about socially significant diseases, how to prevent them, therapy for such diseases, as well as intellectual property issues in pharmaceuticals. The Forum will also address the development of the domestic pharmaceutical market, including the circulation of drugs and what kind of prospects companies have as stock market drivers.

Considering the rapid development of the pharmaceutical market and the implementation of Russia’s national projects, drug security issues are becoming a priority of state policy. The Forum’s plenary session ‘National Projects Focusing on Drug Security: New Goals and New Challenges’ will bring together industry experts to discuss strategic areas of development and come up with solutions to ensure the quality and availability of drugs in Russia and abroad.

The ‘Ensuring Drug Security’ Russian Pharmaceutical Forum is an annual flagship industry event featuring discussions about key areas of the pharmaceutical industry’s development strategy, taking into account the goals and objectives defined in Russia’s new national projects, with planning horizons until 2030 and 2036.
